Bleak – Ruth Watson-Morris

The humans have finally done it, after many years of selfishness, fighting, threatening. Their lack of responsibility has allowed the Earth to become polluted, the shadows of the poisonous mushrooms have fallen over the world and mankind has finally made itself extinct. Hope lies in a small woodland in England where a band of woodland folk have hidden themselves away, covering the forest with magic, there in it lies the last of many magical creatures, unicorns, elves & fairies. They are our last hope. In search of their own kind, Bleak and some of her fellow fairies chance their lives beyond the woodlands, finding both good and bad survivors on their journey. But, who else has survived the Holocaust?
